Instruction Manual

 

 

ELECTRICAL 

1.

 

The Blow Vac is an electrical appliance using 

fast moving parts & as such can be dangerous 

if handled irresponsibly. 

2.

 

We recommend the use of a Residual Current 

Device (R.C.D) with a tripping current of not 

more than 30mA. Even with a R.C.D installed 

100% safety cannot be guaranteed and safe 

working practice must always be followed. 

Check the R.C.D every time you use it. 

3.

 

Before use, examine the cable for signs of 

damage or ageing. If the cable is found to be 

defective, the product to an Authorised 

Service Centre and have the cable replaced. 

4.

 

Do not use the product if the cable is 

damaged or worn. 

5.

 

Immediately disconnect from the mains 

electricity supply if the cable is cut, or the 

insulation is damaged. Do not touch the 

electrical cable until the electrical supply has 

been disconnected. Do not attempt to repair 

the cable and seek assistance of an Authorised 

Service Centre. 

6.

 

Coiled cables can overheat and reduce the 

efficiency of the product. 

7.

 

Do not pull the cable around sharp objects. 

8.

 

Always switch off at the mains before 

disconnecting any plug, cable connector or 

extension cable. 

9.

 

Switch off, remove plug from mains and 

examine electric supply cable for damage or 

ageing before winding cable for storage. Do 

not repair a damaged cable, replace it with a 

new one. Use only genuine replacement 

cable. 

10.

 

Never carry the product by the cable. 

11.

 

Never pull on the cable to disconnect the 

electrical plug. 

12.

 

Always wind the cable carefully, avoiding 

kinking. 

13.

 

Use only on AC mains supply voltage shown 

on the product label 

 

PREPERATION 

1.

 

Always wear suitable clothing, gloves and 

shoes. Do not wear open toe footwear. 

2.

 

The use of eye protection is recommended 

3.

 

The use of ear protection is recommended 

4.

 

To prevent dust irritation, the wearing of a 

face mask is recommended. 

5.

 

Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery that 

can be drawn into the air inlet 

6.

 

Do not wear clothing with attachments, i.e. 

toggles or drawstrings that can be drawn into 

the air inlet 

7.

 

Do not use if any part is damaged or broken or 

if any of the screws are loose. Have it repaired 

at an Authorised Repair Centre.  

8.

 

Always check your product is in a safe 

operating condition before use. 

9.

 

Inspect the collection bag regularly. If the 

collection bag is damaged or worn, replace 

immediately  

 

USE 

1.

 

The Blow Vac is only suitable for domestic use 

and can be used only for processing light, 

DRY 

garden waste materials such as leaves, grass 

cuttings, clippings, small twigs and pieces of 

paper. 

2.

 

Never use to vac, blow or shred heavy, sharp 

or flammable materials such as metal, stones, 

branches, fir cones, glass, barbecue coals, 

cigarette ends, dust, gravel, soil or liquids. 

3.

 

We recommend that customers use both 

functions of the machine when collecting. You 

should blow all the dry garden waste to a safe 

area clear of stones, gravel etc., before 

vacuuming up the waste. Damage caused to 

the fan, tubes, bag or casing by vacuuming 

any inappropriate material will not be covered 

by the warranty. 

4.

 

Never insert your hands into the openings 

whilst the unit is running or connected to the 

mains electricity supply. 

5.

 

Use the product only in daylight or good 

artificial light 

6.

 

Do not use the product when it is raining or in 

damp and wet areas. 

7.

 

Know how to stop the product in an 

emergency 

8.

 

On slopes, be careful of your footing and wear 

non-slip footwear 

9.

 

Walk, do not run 

10.

 

Keep all bystanders at a safe distance when 

using your product. 

11.

 

Keep loose clothing & jewellery away from the 

air inlet. 

12.

 

Do not attempt to use the product without 

the fully assembled collection bag fitted. 

13.

 

Never blow debris in the direction of 

bystanders. 

14.

 

Store is a cool, dry place and out of reach of 

children. Do not store outdoors.
