Knowing the connection interval and the number of messages that will be sent, the time neces-
sary to setup a connection can be estimated by multiplying the number of messages with the
connection interval.

In case the Device Information Service is enabled, the number of messages
and thus the time consumption of the connection setup may be increased.

9.4. Connection based data transmission

After connection has been setup, data can be transmitted using the

CMD_DATA_REQ

. It buffers the

data in the module and sends it with the next connection interval event. As soon as the data
has been transmitted successfully, a

CMD_TXCOMPLETE_RSP

is returned to the host. The time

needed for this coincides with the connection interval that was negotiated during connection
setup. The

RF_ConnectionTiming

parameter defines the minimum and maximum connection

interval, which is supported by the module.
