4.4
Functional and operating elements
4.4.1
Protective cover
Each adapter has a specially designed protective cover
(included with the adapter).
The protective cover is designed to conceal the main pinch
points on the adapter and keep access to the work area clear.
4.4.2
Reset button
Press the reset button if the adapter is blocked due to an oper-
ating or handling error or incorrect insertion of a contact.
The machine can be opened by the clamping lever.
To unlock the reset button, turn it clockwise (direction of arrow).
4.4.3
Counter
The machine has a piece counter with a 8-digit LCD display.
The counter counts each crimping operation until it is manually
reset by pressing the button.

Transport, Storage
5.1
Transport
Danger of crushing if the machine falls down.
Wear suitable safety shoes when transporting and setting up the machine.
Disturbance of the musculoskeletal system due to improper transport.
When transporting by hand, transport the machine using the T-handle. For transport over longer
distances, transport the machine in its original packaging using a lifting tool.
5.2
Storage
Corrosion of the machine due to incorrect storage.
Store the machine and accessories at 5
–
50 °C and max. 90 % relative humidity (non-
condensing) in the original packaging.
