3. Set the Mode to ‘Record’ using the “

” button, and then set the Cycle, Time, and Duration.

The timer ”Mode” is by default set to ”Record”. This is the recording-timer.
Instead of a
recording-timer, the user can add sleep- and reminder-timers.

Sleep: The Record is set to standby-mode at the given time.

Reminder: Starts at the given time to display the selected channel. The Record is set back to
standby-mode after the entered duration.

When the timer is in the mode ”Record”, select the channel that will be recorded. Open the
channel-list in the ”Channel”-setting by pressing the “OK” button.

After selecting the channel, input the duration of the recording in the ”Duration”-field. Enter the
duration with the numeric buttons.

The setting ”Timer Padding” is for adding a certain amount of extra minutes to the chosen
duration. This function is especially designed for timers that are set through the EPG, where the
duration is pre-defined by the EPG-information. Adding a few extra minutes will ensure that the
whole program is recorded.

Rename the recording file name in the ”File”-field. Press the “OK” button in order to display the
virtual keyboard. Move the selector with the arrow-buttons and enter the charachters with the “OK”
button.

In the ”Interval”-setting, select the interval for the timer. When set to ”Weekly”, select the days of
the week that the timer should be activated. Select weekday by moving the selector with the arrow-
buttons “

” and then pressing the “OK” button.
