Neumáticos
Compruebe regularmente la presión de los neumáticos. Circular con los neumáticos poco inflados o
desinflados puede perjudicar el rendimiento, provocar un desgaste prematuro, disminuir la autonomía
o aumentar el riesgo de accidente.
Si se detecta un desgaste importante o un corte en uno de los neumáticos, substitúyalo antes de utilizar
la bicicleta. Se incluye una indicación de presión del fabricante en el costado del neumático y en la
tabla siguiente. La presión debe adaptarse según el peso del usuario.

Método para determinar el ajuste correcto de los mecanismos de bloqueo rápido (rueda y
abrazadera de asiento)
Los dispositivos de bloqueo rápido están diseñados para activarse manualmente. Nunca se deben
utilizar herramientas para bloquear o desbloquear el mecanismo para no deteriorarlo.
Para ajustar la fuerza de ajuste del eje de la rueda, debe utilizar la tuerca de ajuste y no debe utilizar
la palanca de bloqueo rápido. Si puede manipularse la palanca ejerciendo una presión manual mínima,
significa que no está suficientemente ajustada. Por tanto, se debe volver a ajustar la tuerca de ajuste.
El sistema de bloqueo rápido debe marcar las pestañas de la horquilla cuando está cerrado en la
posición bloqueada.
En cada operación de ajuste, compruebe que la rueda anterior está bien centrada con respecto a la
horquilla. Para ajustar, cerrar y abrir los mecanismos de bloqueo rápido, aplicando el método
siguiente:

Ajuste de los frenos
Antes de cada uso, compruebe que los frenos anterior y posterior están en buenas condiciones de
funcionamiento.
El puño derecho activa el freno posterior. El puño izquierdo activa el freno anterior.
Se recomienda repartir una media de fuerza de frenada en 60/40 entre el anterior y el posterior. La
palanca de freno no debe estar en contacto con el manillar y los recubrimientos no deben tener
trayectorias en ángulo cerrado para que los cables se deslicen con el mínimo roce. Los cables dañados,
deshilachados u oxidados d e b e n c a m b i a r s e inmediatamente.
