Q: Where should the solar panel be mounted?
A: Mount your solar panel in a position that will enable the most amount of light to be absorbed. In the Northern Hemisphere this is
usually south facing.
Q: Does the solar panel require direct sun to charge?
A: The solar panel can charge the internal battery with direct and indirect light. For best results, try to optimize your solar panel’s
sun exposure.
Q: Can additional or extended cable wire for the solar panel and string light be purchased?
A: At this point there are no extensions available. Any changes to the cable will void the warranty.
Q: Are the bulbs replaceable?
A: Yes, we have two extra bulbs in the box for replacement.
Q: Why do the solar string lights appear to strobe or flash?
A: A flashing light is generally caused by an undercharged battery. Turn the solar string light to the ‘OFF’ position and charge for
two full days in strong sun. After two days of charging, switch to the ’ON’ position and use as usual.
Q: Can the solar string light be used during the daytime?
A: No, the solar string light only illuminates during the evening and/or during periods of darkness.
Q: What type of battery do my solar string light require to operate?
A: Each set of solar string light requires the use of one rechargeable Li-ion battery 3.7V 1800mAh .
Q: How long does the light illuminate for?
A: It can illuminate for 5-6 hours after fully charge.
Q: What’s the total length of string light?
A: Total length is 34 feet. The internal distance between each bulb is 2 feet. the lead wire from solar panle to the first bulb is 6 feet.

After three sunny days’ charge, the solar string light is ready to use.
When ON is selected, the bulbs will automatically illuminate when comes
to dark. When this solar string light won’t be used for very long time. It is
advisable to keep the ON/OFF switch in the OFF position as this will be
better for battery maintenance.
The Li-ion battery included (I) is located in the battery housing
behind the solar panel.
Select the OFF position on the solar panel prior to opening the
battery housing.
Remove two screws to reveal the battery.
When replacing the battery, observe the correct polarity and
match the battery specifications with the battery you have
removed.
Use a rechargeable battery only.
Replace the back of the battery compartment and continue to
use the solar string lights as required.
