J7

 to 

J12 

shorting bars (refer to Figure 5.8) on the AMB to configure the 

Normally Open or Normally Closed (NO/NC) state of the trouble contacts, as 
indicated below in Table 5.1. Refer to the External Audio System’s Instruction 
Manual to identify the required contact state.

Trouble Connections for Multiple Individual Trouble Outputs:

1. Connect twisted pair wires from the External Audio Source to each desired      

NO/NC and Common Trouble contact pair on AMB 

J2 pins 1 thru 12

.

2. Install an End-of-Line Resistor (EOLR) as required by the External Audio 

System, across each 

NO/NC and COM

 Trouble contact pair on the AMB as 

shown in Figure 5.10 and Figure 5.11.

3. Set the 

J7

 to 

J12 

shorting bars (refer to Figure 5.8) on the AMB to configure the 

Normally Open or Normally Closed (NO/NC) state of the trouble contacts, as 
indicated below in Table 5.1. Refer to the External Audio System’s Instruction 
Manual to identify the required contact state.
