Troubleshooting
If you encounter a problem with your modem or battery charger,
review the following list of frequently asked questions.
I’m getting no response from the modem.
Make sure that the iPAQ is fully inserted into the modem, the
Modem Info application has power setting is on and the modem is fully
charged. The Power/On-Line indicator should be illuminated and Low-
Battery indicator off.
Select the Modem Info application from your iPAQ’s main screen to
display the Modem Info screen. Check the battery indicator is showing
adequate battery charge status.
Refer to page 21 for information on charging your modem.
The Power/On-Line Indicator is continually flashing green.
Check your network profile setting by selecting the Modem Info
application from your iPAQ’s main screen to display the Modem Info
screen. Select the Settings tab to display the screen below:
Select the operator profile you have subscribed to eg Motient if you are
using your modem in U.S.A. or Bell Mobility if you are in Canada.
