Figure 1 

shows the top view of the PLD driver and the 

locations of the configuration switches, Output and Current 

Limit adjust trimpots, and status LEDs.

shows a typical wiring diagram for the PLD driver 

and external electronics to operate a Type A or B laser.

Figure 3 

illustrates the three laser types that the PLD can

Use  caution  when  the  PLD  is  combined  with  a 

PTC  temperature  controller:  if  the  TEC  or 

thermistor  is  connected  to  the  laser  diode,  two 

power  supplies  are  required  and  must  float 

independently of each other.
