Tips for use

Use good quality leading brand batteries when charging alkaline batteries
this will result in many more recharges been possible with the batteries.

It is better to recharge your batteries once they are running low rather than
wait for them to be completely dead.

Once a battery falls below a certain voltage  it will not recharge again. Dead
batteries that are left after use for long periods cannot be recharged.

It is recommended to charge used NiMH & NiCd batteries twice consecu-
tively (or around 8 hours) before use for a better effect.

DO NOT charge any deformed, damaged, rusted or leaked batteries with
the charger.

Make sure the charger is in the standby mode (lights off) before charging
any used batteries to prevent insufficient charging time.

If at first a battery will not charge, take it out of the charger and clean the
contacts on the battery and try again.

The unit will recharge alkaline batteries between 10- 20 times depending on
the age and quality of the battery. The amount of recharge power that can
be put into the battery will gradually diminish.

NiMH and NiCd rechargeable batteries will operate in there normal way for
recharging.
