USING TONIC POWER AND DATA
Tonic arranges users into a simple or fully electric linear dual-sided bench table format that supports power outlets,
data channel and many functional elements. The Tonic Bench Table unit features a modular power distribution 8-wire,
four circuit manufactured wiring harness system. Tonic modular power distribution is based on a power raceway
furnishing consisting of a power raceway, power blocks, preconfigured outlets, jumper cables between power blocks,
and power feed for hardwire connection to building power supply. Each powered table segment (starter, adder and
ender) consists of one power raceway. They are rigidly mounted atop and between desktop support rails which allow
access from above and thru center infill surfaces. Communication and data cabling can be routed in a raceway to
support a technology rich environment. They are facilitated with knockouts located on the power raceway. Cable slats
are suspended in the channel underneath the power raceway furnishing.
The installed Power and Data Raceway
creates a trough for excess cords and power
adapters. The underside of the Raceway is
reserved for routing data cables.
Users — direct access to power and data receptacles
including a trough to store excess cords and power bricks.
Facilities/IT — ports for power cords and
capacity for 50+ data cables.
