1. IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read this instruction manual carefully before using the appliance. It contains important information for your safety as well
as operating and maintenance advice.
1. Follow all safety instructions in order to prevent damage being caused by incorrect use! Comply with
all safety warning on the appliance.
2. Keep this instruction manual for future use. Should this appliance be passed on to a third party, then
this instruction manual must be included.

4. No liability will be accepted for damage resulting from improper use or non-compliance with these
instructions.
5. The appliance works with a collimated light beam that can be dangerous for your eyes.

Danger of electric shock!
Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself. In case of malfunction,
repairs are to be conducted by qualified personnel only.

Warning!
During cleaning or operation do not immerse the electrical parts of the appliance in water
or other liquids. Never hold the appliance under running water.
8. Do not open the appliance casing under any circumstances. Do not insert any foreign objects into the
inside of the casing.
9. Never use accessories which are not recommended by the manufacturer. They could pose a safety risk
to the user and might damage the appliance. Only use original parts and accessories.
10. Keep the appliance away from any hot surfaces and open flames. Always operate the appliance on a
level, stable, clean and dry surface. Protect the appliance against heat and cold, dust, direct sunlight,
moisture, dripping and splashing water.
11. Do not place heavy objects on top of the appliance. Do not place objects with open flames, e.g.
candles, on top of or beside the appliance. Do not place objects filled with water, e.g. vases, on or
near the appliance.

In the event of a malfunction as a result of electrostatic discharge and momentary electrical
surges, reset the appliance by disconnecting it from your computer.
13. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory,
or mental capabilities, or by those who lack experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision and instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their
safety.
14. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

Danger of explosion!
The supplied batteries may not be charged or re-activated by other means,
disassembled, thrown into fire, or short-circuited.
16. Do not expose batteries to extreme temperatures. Do not place the keyboard nor the mouse on
heaters. Leaked battery acid can cause damages.
17. Replace all used batteries with batteries of the same type only. Do not operate keyboard nor the
mouse with new and old batteries at the same time.
18. If batteries should leak, remove them with a cloth from the battery compartment. Dispose of batteries
according to the regulations. Avoid contact with leaked battery acid. Rinse affected areas immediately
after contact with the acid and wash with plenty of clean water. Visit a physician.
19. Swallowed batteries are lethal. Keep batteries out of reach of children. Immediately ask for medical
assistance if a battery is swallowed.
20. Remove exhausted batteries from keyboard and mouse. Remove batteries from keyboard and mouse if
you will not use the appliance for an extended period of time.
21. Always insert batteries correctly with regard to the polarities (+ and –) marked on the battery and the
battery compartment.
22. Do not allow children to replace batteries without adult supervision.

Attention!
The LED is very bright. Never look directly into the light. Bright lights can damage your
eyes' retina.
24. Before disposing of the product, remove the batteries from the product.
25. Non-rechargeable batteries must not be recharged.
26. Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the product before being charged.
