 Module 

Assembly

Modules should be assembled prior to mounting. The processor 
module is always the first module (left side) on a PPC system. 
To connect other modules, use the following procedure.

CAUTION!

To avoid damaging your PPC system, never connect 
or disconnect modules that are powered.

ç

CAUTION!

PPC modules contain sensitive electronic 
components. Be sure to observe ESD safety 
precautions such as wearing a ground strap.

Make sure the red top and bottom module latches on the
module to be added are in the unlocked position (pushed
toward the back of the module. Refer to 

Figure 2.8.
