Pour faire un « traitement de choc » hebdomadaire de votre spa,
nous vous recommandons d'utiliser soit l'oxydant sans chlore
FRESHWATER , le Monopersulfate (MPS) ou le dichlorure de sodium
(chlore). Un traitement de choc à l'aide de dichlorure de sodium convient
particulièrement aux spas fort sollicités.
Les produits optionnels suivants peuvent être utilisés en conjonction avec le
système d'entretien de l'eau FROG :
L'oxydant sans chlore FRESHWATER (MPS) est un produit
chimique oxydant qui empêche la prolifération de contaminants,
optimise l'efficacité du désinfectant et améliore la transparence de l'eau.
Lorsqu'il est utilisé en conjonction avec le système FROG , il oxyde les
particules dans l'eau du spa.
REMARQUE IMPORTANTE : LE FRESHWATER monopersulfate
(MPS)
est un oxydant, pas un désinfectant.
Le système à haut rendement d'ozone FRESHWATER III est le seul
système de purification à base d’ozone qui peut être installé dans
votre spa HOT SPRING . Le système à haut rendement d'ozone
FRESHWATER III utilise la technologie CD pour produire une
concentration d’ozone plus importante que dans les ozoniseurs
CD à puce ou à ultraviolet (UV) concurrents .
REMARQUE : consultez les instructions de mise en marche de
votre manuel d'utilisation FROG @ease SmartChlor (comme pour le
brome FROG, uniquement pour le Canada). Vous trouverez le manuel
d'utilisation dans votre kit de démarrage FROG.
Il est important de suivre les programmes d'application et d'entretien
recommandés pour chaque produit. Si le spa est utilisé pendant une
longue période, par exemple tout un après-midi ou toute une soirée, vous
devez ajouter un supplément de désinfectant.
Lorsque vous utilisez @
ease SmartChlor, vous devez également vous servir des bandelettes
d'analyse d'eau @ease.
REMARQUE : la cartouche minérale FROG @ease ou la cartouche
de chlore @ease ne sont pas approuvées pour être utilisées au
Canada.
DÉPANNAGE
:
• Vérifiez l'équilibre de l'eau, le pH et l'alcalinité totale qui doivent se
trouver dans les plages correctes pour que le système @ease en
ligne fonctionne correctement.
• Si la cartouche SmartChlor n'est pas vide, réglez le cadran sur la
position 1 et surveillez les niveaux de chlore pendant quelques jours,
tout en maintenant l'équilibre de l'eau. Si nécessaire, augmentez le
réglage à nouveau.
• Vérifiez la cartouche SmartChlor et remplacez si elle est vide
.
INSTRUCTIONS DE
REMPLACEMENT DE LA
CARTOUCHE
FROG
La cartouche FROG @ease doit être remplacée toutes les 3-4 semaines,
en fonction de la fréquence d'utilisation (choquez le spa après avoir
remplacé la cartouche). La cartouche minérale FROG @ease doit être
remplacée tous les 4 mois, lors du vidage et du remplissage du spa.
Après avoir rempli votre spa d'eau, n'oubliez pas d'équilibrer l'alcalinité
totale (TA), la dureté calcique (CH) et le pH aux plages recommandées.
Choquez le spa une fois par mois en ajoutant l'oxydant sans chlore
(MPS) FRESHWATER ou du dichlorure de sodium (chlore).
Pour remplacer les cartouches FROG, suivez ces étapes :
1. Mettez le spa hors tension.
2. Dévissez le bouchon FROG sur le haut du spa.
3. Enfoncez la poignée et tournez dans le sens anti-horaire.
4. Enlevez le support de cartouche du spa.
5. Enlevez et jetez les anciennes cartouches.
6. Tournez le bouchon du haut de la nouvelle cartouche minérale @
ease sur le réglage n° 6 (évaluez l'eau au bout d'une semaine et
ajustez selon le besoin).
7. Pour le réglage de la cartouche @ease SmartChlor, consultez le
tableau ci-dessous :

8. Insérez la cartouche @ease dans le and snap @ease mineral
cartridge into the top.
9. Réinstallez le support de cartouche dans le spa, enfoncez et tournez
dans le sens horaire.
10. Remplacez le bouchon FROG .
11. Remettez le spa sous tension.
UTILISER LA CARTOUCHE DE BROME FROG (BCDMH) (Canada
uniquement).
Il s'agit d'un désinfectant indépendant qui s'installe à l'intérieur du système
de désinfection FROG en ligne qui est fourni avec votre spa HOT
SPRING . Suivez les étapes 1-5 ci-dessus. Puis, réglez la cartouche de
brome FROG sur la position n° 3 dans le support inférieur du support.
Enfin, suivez les étapes 9-11 ci-dessus. Lorsque vous utilisez une
cartouche de brome FROG , il convient de choquer le spa une fois par
semaine.
NOTE IMPORTANTE : utilisez uniquement la section inférieure pour cette
cartouche, sinon le contenu de brome se dispersera trop rapidement.
Testez votre eau et ajustez la cartouche de brome quotidiennement
jusqu'à avoir établi la plage correcte de 3,0 à 5,0.
AVERTISSEMENT : les désinfectants en concentration élevée risquent
de provoquer une certaine gêne pour les yeux, les poumons et la peau de
l’utilisateur. Avant d’utiliser le spa, veillez toujours à ce que le niveau de
désinfectant soit compris dans la plage recommandée par le fabricant.

Step 1: Prepare the Hot Tub
• This is highly unlikely with
@ease because SmartChlor is
self-regulating. However, if you use
standard test strips, it may appear
that total chlorine is higher than the
free chlorine.
No worries—the strip is measuring
the SmartChlor reserve, which will
shift to free chlorine as needed.
Please always use the @ease Test
Strips that were included with your
System.

Remove holder by pushing down

• Don’t attempt to reuse: the minerals are spent after 4 months.
Replace silver SmartChlor Cartridge when empty.
• Life of cartridge varies depending on hot tub size and number
of users. The SmartChlor Cartridge will last about 3-4 weeks for
an average 400 gallon hot tub.
• Drain water from cartridge to ensure it is empty.
• Discard in trash or recycle.
Set the blue Mineral Cartridge to #6
(hold the bottom and turn the top until
6 appears in the window). No further
adjustments are necessary for the life of
the cartridge.
The In-Line System is made up of:

Water Balance Guidelines

Total Alkalinity: 80 - 120 ppm

IMPORTANT:
Always follow printed instructions on the balancing
chemical packages. Add balancing chemicals in small increments one at a
time with the jets on and wait 6 hours before testing again and adding any
additional balancing chemicals.

Look at the Total Alkalinity reading first. Adjustments
should be made to bring the Total Alkalinity in the range of
80 – 120 ppm prior to making any adjustments to pH even if
it throws pH off further.

Take a water sample from the hot
tub and dip an @ease ® Test Strip into
it.

After Total Alkalinity is in range, test for pH . It should be
between 7.2 and 7.8. If higher or lower, add a pH adjuster.

Lastly test for Calcium Hardness. It should be between
150 and 250 ppm
. If higher, partially drain the hot tub (about 6 inch-
es) and fill with water low in calcium. If lower, add Calcium Increaser.
If balancing takes longer than 2 days, shock the water and
maintain a chlorine level while continuing balancing.

NOTE: Why @ease Test Strips? The SmartChlor cartridge forms a
chlorine reserve that will be inaccurately measured as total chlorine
on other test strips. Unlike conventional chlorine, the SmartChlor
reserve readily shifts to free chlorine as needed, maintaining spa
health with a low level of chlorine.
SmartChlor will maintain a 0.5-1.0 ppm free chlorine
level as long as the water is balanced.
NOTE: Free Chlorine levels are reduced up to 75%*
when using FROG
®
Minerals.

• Check water balance. pH and Total Alkalinity need to be in the
proper ranges for the @ease In-Line System to work correctly.
•If the SmartChlor Cartridge is not empty, turn dial setting
up 1 number and monitor chlorine levels for a few days while
maintaining water balance. If needed, turn dial up again.
• Check SmartChlor Cartridge and replace if empty—see
instructions under “Replacing Cartridges”.
• Check your calendar. The entire @ease In-Line System, including
the mineral cartridge, needs to be replaced every four months.
Without the minerals, SmartChlor will not be enough to sanitize
the hot tub.
SmartChlor Cartridge Life
• If hot tub is larger than 400 gallons or has significant bather
load, the cartridge life will be shorter.
• You can turn the dial setting down 1 number and monitor
chlorine levels for a few days while maintaining water balance.
If needed, turn dial down again.
