On outside of vehicle frame, as shown in Figure
5, install one 7/16 flat washer, one 7/16 lock
washer and one 7/16 - 14 hex nut on each side of
bumper. Torque to recommended specifications
of 50 lb. ft. (67.8 N-m).
NOTE: Top two 10 mm shoulder head
capscrews can now be torqued to recom-
mended specifications of 30 lb. ft. (40.7 N-m).

If vehicle is equipped with factory skidplate, as
shown in Figure 6, reattach to bumper using
factory supplied hardware. One 1/4 flat washer
and one M6 x 1.0 nylon lock nut, provided, will be
required on each side on back surface, to retain
hardware. Torque to recommended specifications
of 8lb. ft. (10.8 N-m).
