Troubleshooting

Toolbar contacts the crop.
Shank depth is too shallow.
Adjust shanks and gauge wheels down.
Crop is too tall for correct use of the
implement.
Use the machine before the crop is too tall.
Inconsistent cleanout from one
furrow to the next.
Machine is not running level.
Adjust machine, or tractor hitch, to be level
side to side. (See pages 18)
Adjust the level from front to back to change
shape of furrows. (See page 25)
Check gauge tire pressure to make sure all
tires are equal. (See page 19)
Shanks are not set properly.
Make sure shanks are all set to same depth.
Wings are floating up
Toolbar is not level.
Level toolbar.
Plows are not taking the ground.
Adjust the plow tips down to take the ground.
Plows are worn and should be replaced.
