Removal and stowage

Removal of Lid assembly from WC
6.1.1
Lid removal guidelines
(Note, removal is the reverse of the installing procedure)

Using 6mm A/F Allen key, t
urn the recessed lock bolt CCW until ‘J’ bolt
is fully
extended to end stop as indicated at Fig. 5.
WARNING! When handling the Lockable Lid assembly it is advisable to practice
good hygiene & infection control & suitable PPE should be used.

W
ith the ‘J’ bolt fully undone it will not come loose or detached as it is safely held
captive, push the Lid forward so that the front of Lid rises up above WC rim, Fig. 6.
Grasp the sides of lid & lift the Lid assembly completely from the WC. When setting
the Lid down always place face down on a flat surface.
