5. Preparing the device for use
5.1 Attach the receiver to the studio flash and to the power supply.
■
Switch off the studio flash unit.
■
Plug the synchro cable (4) into the socket of the studio flash.
■
Plug the power cord of the receiver (1) into the socket of the studio
flash.
NOTE
■
Compare the local power supply with the connected load of the remote
trigger.
■
If the connection values do not match (compare with technical data),
please contact [email protected].
■
Connect power cord of the flash with the socket for power cord power
connection (3) and with the mains socket.
5.2 Adjust frequency
You have the opportunity to operate the Remote Trigger with 4 different
channels. It is important that you make the same adjustments for trans-
mitter and receiver.
■
Adjust the frequency on the back of the transmitter.
The two dip switches can be positioned as follows:
OO, ON, NO and NN.
■
Set the channel on the back of the receiver.
Select the same combination as on the transmitter.
5.3 Connect the transmitter with the camera
■ Put the transmitter with the shoe on the hot shoe of your camera.
■ Tighten the hand screw to fix the transmitter to the camera.
■ If the hot shoe of your camera doesn´t have a center contact, please
use the included synchro cable (6) to connect the transmitter to your
camera.
6. Operating the device
Trigger test button
Before starting your work, please check the function of your devices and
trigger your studio flash through the test button on the transmitter.

8. Maintaining the device
8.1 Check and maintain the device regularly
Check all cables and plugs for damage before each use.
WARNING
Danger of electric shock and danger of fire due to short circuit.
Have the device repaired by an electrician immediately.
