Malfunctions
4.1.
Battery
If there is insufficient battery voltage, a warning signal will sound several times in
succession after you enter the code, and the red LED will flash on and off intermittently.
If you observe the warnings just mentioned, the 9 V block battery for the lock must be
replaced as quickly as possible (section 3.4.).
4.2.
Tamper block
After 4 invalid code inputs, the keypad is blocked for about 5 minutes. During this lockout
time, a light signal will be seen every 10 seconds. If two more incorrect codes are entered
again after the lockout time has elapsed, the lockout time of 5 minutes will start again. The
lockout time ends as soon as the valid code has been entered correctly.
Anchoring
The furniture safe is supplied with two M10x30 hexagon head screws, two M10 washers
and two M10x53 drive-in anchors.
For anchoring in the building wall, as well as in the building floor, follow the procedure
below:
1.
Position the furniture safe and mark the drilling positions.
2.
Place the furniture safe to one side so that the drilling positions are easily accessible.
3.
Drill holes Ø12, 65mm deep. (

4.
Vacuum the drilling dust from the drill holes. (

5.
Insert the impact anchor into the drill holes and use a screwdriver to drive it in flush to
the bottom of the hole.

The impact anchor should be recessed 5mm into the wall.

6.
Position the furniture safe in front of the drill holes and place the screws with washers
flush against the safe housing from the inside

7.
Tighten the screws to 25 Nm using a torque wrench. (

8.
By tightening the screw correctly, the striking anchor is spread open and thus holds
firmly in the wall. (
