Disposal
Handle with care! Environmental damage in
the event of incorrect disposal.

Correct disposal will ensure environmental
protection and prevent any potentially harmful
impact on people and the environment.
Adhere to the relevant legal requirements when disposing
of the appliance.
Information on the disposal of electrical and electronic
appliances in the European Community:
Within the European Community, national regula-
tions are specified for the disposal of electrical
appliances, based on EU Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment Directive 2012/19/EC
(WEEE). In accordance with this, the appliance
can no longer be disposed of with the local or
domestic waste.
The appliance will be accepted free of charge by
local collection points or recycling centres.
The packaging for this product is made from
recyclable materials. Dispose of this in an environ-
mentally friendly manner by recycling it.
The operating temperature can be set within a range of
80-210°C in 10°C increments. After the set operating
temperature has been reached, this will be shown in
the display.
4. After using the appliance, switch it off by holding down
the on/off switch (Fig. 2). The LCD display goes out.
5. Disconnect from the mains.
6. Allow the appliance to cool down.
Temperature switch lock
· The temperature switches will be deactivated by shortly
pressing the on/off switch (E) twice. An acoustic signal
will sound. The temperature setting is now fixed against
unintentional alteration during operation.
· The temperature switches will be reactivated by shortly
pressing the on/off switch (E) twice.
Automatic switch-off
The appliance switches itself off automatically within 50
minutes if no switch is pressed.
Operation
Tips for successful styling
1. Wash and rinse the hair well.
2. Dry the hair.
3. Brush or comb the hair.
4. Section off individual strands of hair.
5. At the hairline, place a section of hair between the
heating plates.
6. Keep the appliance pressed together and slowly pull it
down the section of hair and away from the head.

Do not leave the sections of hair in the appli-
ance for more than a few seconds, otherwise
this could damage the hair.

Only increase temperature gradually.
7. Open the appliance and allow the section of hair to
slip out.
8. Repeat this process until the desired result has been
achieved.
CERAMIC- & TOURMALINE-coated heating plates
Negative ions have an antistatic effect and are gentle to the
hair. They close the scale layer, creating a smooth, silky
hair surface. They lock in the natural moisture of the hair,
thereby creating the ultimate shine.
Maintenance
Warning! Injuries and material damage due to
incorrect handling.

Switch off the appliance before cleaning it or
performing any maintenance. Disconnect the
appliance from the power supply.

Allow the appliance to cool down completely.
Cleaning and care
Danger! Electric shock due to penetration of
liquid.

Do not immerse the appliance in water!

Do not allow any liquid to get inside the
appliance.

Only reconnect the appliance to the power
supply if it is completely dry.
Caution! Danger from aggressive chemicals.
Aggressive chemicals could damage the appli-
ance and accessories.

Never use solvents or scouring agents.

Only wipe the appliance with a soft cloth, which may be
dampened slightly. Do not use solvents or abrasives!
Problem elimination
Appliance does not heat up.
Cause: Defective power supply.

Make sure that contact between the mains and the
socket is faultless. Check the mains cable for possible
damage.
