7.2 

Diagnostics via Process Image 

The process image (see Section “Process Image”) provides information on cases 
of error. 

Bit 0 of the input bits contains diagnostic information for output DO 1, bit 1 
contains diagnostic information for output DO 2. 
It is normal operation if the respective input bit is set to 0. If the respective input 
bit is set to 1, it points to an error at the output concerned.
