Device Description
The 750-483/040-000 I/O module (2AI 0-30 VDC Diff XTR) processes differential
signals of a magnitude of 0 … 30 VDC from the field range.
The I/O module has 2 input channels for differential signals. The sensors may be
received via the CAGE CLAMP
®
connAI 1 and
−
AI 1 or +AI 2 and
−
AI 2.
The shield connection is fed directly to the carrier rail and contact is made
automatically by snapping the module onto the rail.
The assignment of the connections is described in the “Connectors” section.
Connection examples are shown in section “Connect Devices” > … >
“Connection Example(s)”.
The input signal is electrically isolated and is transmitted with a resolution of
14 bits.
The operational readiness and the trouble-free local bus communication of the
channels are indicated via a green function LED.
One red error LED per channel indicates when the measuring range is exceeded
or falls below for the respective channel.
The meaning of the LEDs is described in the “Display Elements” section.
Power to the internal electronics is supplied via internal data bus.
Power from SELV/PELV power supply only!
All field signals and field supplies connected to this XTR I/O module
(750-483/040-000) must be powered from SELV/PELV power supply(s)!
Both the potential groups and the individual modules within these groups can be
arranged in any combination when designing the field bus node.
Use a power supply module!
Use a power supply module for field-side power supply of downstream I/O
modules.
Mixed operation
Mixed operation (standard/XTR modules) within a node is possible when groups
of modules are electrically isolated on the field side (i.e., electrically isolated
power supply).
