Overview
The analog output module 750-563/040-000 (2AO 0/4-20mA/ 6-18V DC/ 16Bit
/XTR) provides 16 bits of data and optional (with PROFIBUS/PROFINET) 8
status bits per channel.
The digitalized output value is output in a data word (16 bit) via the process
image of the fieldbus coupler/controller as output byte 0 (low) and output byte 1
(high). This value is mapped with a resolution of 16 bit to bit B0 … B15.
Some fieldbus systems process status information with the help of a status byte.
Processing this status byte by the fieldbus coupler/controller is options, i.e.,
access or evaluation of the status information depends on the respective fieldbus
system.
