8.7 Setting the distance markers (fig.

Distance markers help you estimate the distance of your vehicle to objects behind the
vehicle. You can move the distance markers horizontally and vertically.
Activating distance markers
To activate the distance markers, proceed as follows:

Press the “M” button ( 3 ) twice to open the “Option” menu.

Press the “
V
” key ( 4 ) to select the “Scale” parameter.
➤
Use the “–” ( 5 ) and “+” ( 6 ) buttons to select the operating mode “On”.
Moving distance markers horizontally or vertically
To set the distance markers, proceed as follows:

Press the “M” button ( 3 ) to open the “Screen” menu.

Press the “

” key ( 4 ) to set the “Scale” parameter.

Use the “–” ( 5 ) and “+” ( 6 ) buttons to select the desired setting.
– : horizontal
– : vertical

Press the “S” button ( 2 ) to exit the menu.

” button ( 4 ) to call up the distance marker.

Use the “–” ( 5 ) button or “+” ( 6 ) button to select the desired position.

Press the “M” button ( 3 ) to exit the settings.
9 Cleaning and caring for the LCD monitor

Clean the monitor with a soft, damp cloth from time to time.
10 Warranty
The statutory warranty period applies. If the product is defective, please contact the
manufacturer's branch in your country (see the back of the instruction manual for the
addresses) or your retailer.
For repair and guarantee processing, please include the following documents when you
send in the device:

A copy of the receipt with purchasing date
z
A reason for the claim or description of the fault
NOTICE! Beware of damage!

Do not use sharp or hard objects for cleaning, as these may damage the
monitor.
z
Remove the cable before cleaning the monitor to prevent short circuiting.
