Using the control box

MagicWatch

Conenct the green cable to the positive wire of the brake light or the hand brake in-
dicator light (optional).

Note

Cables that are not connected must be insulated to prevent malfunctions and 
damage to the device.

➤

Connect the yellow cable to the positive cable of the reversing light (optional).

➤

Set the dip switch 4 to the appropriate brake.

Using the control box

The control box switches on 

automatically

 when the speed falls below the limit set. It 

then switches the connected MagicWatch system on.

The control box has different modes of operation. You must set the speed at which the 
control box is activated.

When the control box is activated, the red LED (

2, page 4) on the housing glows.

7.1

Setting the operating mode

If the speed drops below the set value, the control box switches on. It acts depending on 
which of the following operating modes you have selected:

Meaning

Mode 1

When the vehicle comes to a standstill, the control box switches off 
immediately.

Mode 2

When the vehicle comes to a standstill, the control box remains 
switched on.

Mode 3

When the vehicle comes to a standstill, the control box switches off 
after 10 seconds.

Mode 4

When the vehicle comes to a standstill, and the brake light con-
nected to the control box is activated, the control box switches off 
immediately. If the brake light connected to the control box is 

not

 

activated, the control box remains switched on.

Mode 5

When the vehicle comes to a standstill, and the brake light con-
nected to the control box is activated, the control box switches off 
after 10 seconds. If the brake light connected to the control box is 

not

 activated, the control box remains switched on.
