Connecting the iPod
Connect your iPod once you have properly installed the appropriate dock insert.
Gently slide the iPod down into the dock insert. Make sure to align the connection
on the bottom of the iPod with the multi-pin metal connector located within the
plastic dock insert. Do not force the iPod down into the dock insert or you may
damage the multi-pin connector and cause the Wadia 171iTransport to malfunction.
To remove the iPod from the Wadia 171iTransport, grasp the iPod with a firm
grip and pull upwards at the same angle of the iPod while docked.

Connecting the iPhone
We recommend you use the adaptor with the extension cable for optimum
antenna performance. Plug the extension cable into the iPhone with the marked
side facing up toward the touch screen. You can dock the iPhone using the
appropriate insert provided with your iPhone.
◆
Connecting the iPad
The iPad can only be connected using the adaptor with the extension cable due
to the size of the iPad. The extension cable plugs into the 30 pin connector on
the iPad with the marked side up. The 171iTransport will not charge the iPad,
but it will not drain the iPad either.
