Starting, Steering, Operating, and Stopping the Machine (Kubota)

Requirements

■

Machine is in serviceable condition and has been properly maintained

■

There is fuel in the tank

Starting the
machine

Perform the procedure below to start the machine.

1. Sit in the operator’s seat.

2. Turn the starting key

(a)

clockwise to the crank position until the engine starts.

NOTICE:

Cranking the engine for more than five seconds can cause starter

damage.

■

If the engine fails to start, release the key switch and wait 10 seconds before
operating the starter again.

■

If the engine still will not start after multiple attempts, see chapter

Troubleshooting

3. Allow the engine to warm up before operating the machine.

4. Press the throttle pedal to engage the blades.

This procedure continues on the next page.
