Do not leave the machine connected to the mains unattended. In the event of a break in work or after its completion,
disconnect the machine from the mains by removing the plug from the power socket.
Before connecting the machine, make sure that the supply voltage corresponds to the value stated on the rating
plate. The power supply installation of the machine should be made with a copper wire with a minimum cross-section
of at least 2.5 mm and should be routed through a 16A fuse.
In the event of a power failure, the machine operator is absolutely obliged to turn off the device and remove the plug
from the socket. Once the cause of the power outage has been determined and corrected, you can reconnect the
plug to the power outlet and resume your work.
In the event of a break in work or after its completion, disconnect the machine from the mains by removing the plug
from the power socket.
Please note that the magnetic force disappears when the mains power is interrupted (when the power fails,
when the plug is pulled out of the socket). When drilling in a position other than vertical, use the supplied safety
belt to secure the machine.
Position the drill tip over the marked drill point. Before drilling, check that the drill is firmly attached to the surface.
The feed of the drill is done manually by means of the feed lever. In order to avoid overloading the magnetic drill or
premature wear of the tool, apply sufficient pressure to the drill bit. After the drilling process is completed, the
shavings and/or core of the drill bit should be removed in case of breakage. Cooling and lubrication during drilling
must be adapted to the tool used.
In the event of a power failure and the machine stops, it is mandatory to release the on/off button and remove the
plug from the socket. After determining the cause of the power outage and resolving the problem, you can continue
working. Do not leave the machine connected to the mains unattended.
Lay the electric cable so that it is not exposed to damage during operation. If you need to use an extension cord,
choose its length so that the excess does not interfere with your work. The extension cord should also be equipped
with a protective conductor. Do not disconnect the plug by pulling on the power cord.
A very important issue in the case of threading is to correctly change the direction of the drill from
right to left and vice versa. Change the direction of rotation only when the machine is switched off,
otherwise, if the machine is running, the gears and clutch may be damaged.
The drilling rig switch is located on the body of the machine.
The power supply installation must be equipped with an efficient protective installation and must meet the
requirements of the safety regulations.
