Nozzle orifice size
Valuable notice:
The size of the nozzle orifice controls the flow rate - the amount of paint that comes out of the gun.
Consider the coating and the sprayed surface. Make sure you use the best nozzle orifice size for your coating and the
best nozzle width for that surface. Such information can be found in the technical data sheet of a given paint.
The width of the nozzle determines the width of the stripe. Narrower nozzles provide a thicker coat and wider
nozzles provide a thinner coat of paint.
Choosing the right nozzle
Use larger nozzle orifice sizes with thicker coatings and smaller nozzle orifice sizes with thinner coatings.
It is always better to choose a machine with a larger capacity, for example, if you plan to use a 0.48mm (0.019'') tip
frequently, the capacity of the aggregate should be increased by one tip hole - 53mm (0.021'' tip). Tip wear increases
hose tip size.
