Interactive Objects 

You  can  control  and  interact  with  objects  set  to  be  interactive.  You  can  grab 
Interactive  Objects  and  carry  them  around  within  your  virtual  world  or  they  can 
react to gravity or collide with other objects. 

 

 

In order to interact with an object it must be assigned to the Interactive Objects List. 
This list can contain up to 255 objects. 

To add items to the Interactive Objects List:

Select any item in any 3ds Max Viewport and press the “Add” button. 

Trigger Object 

Selecting  this  option  enables  that  Interactive  Object  to  trigger  other  Interactive 
Objects  in  the  same  fashion  that  a  Camera  triggers  them.  If  this  option  is  not 
selected,  the  currently  selected  object  remains  interactive  but  it  will  not  be  able  to 
trigger other Interactive Objects.
