4 Installation
4.1 Initial inspection
▶ Before installation, check that your boiler and the
controller are a compatible combination.
Compatible boilers are listed on the manufacturer's home
page.
The requirements for fitting are:
•
2-wire EMS BUS connection between the boiler and the
controller.
• Broadband Internet access via Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g if the app
and Internet functionality are used.
4.2 Choosing the installation location

4.3 Installation of the wall mounting plate
The wall mounting plate can be fitted directly onto the wall, for
example, in the location of the previous controller.

4.4 Connecting to the boiler
Ensure that the EMS cable is at least 100mm away from any
power cables to eliminate any mains interference.
EMS connections are not polarity sensitive.
