1.7. INSTALLATION REMARKS
1. Install the unit on a stiff wall in order to avoid vibrations.
2. The mounting plate should adhere tightly to the wall mounted on.
3. FIGHTER 100EH air curtain is not intended for outside installation.
4. Air is sucked through the front part of the unit and removed through the bottom part of it.
5. There is a possibility to install several air curtains next to each other in case of wider doors. In such a situation, there should be 20-40 mm gaps between the units.
6. Distance between the unit and a ceiling above it should not exceed 30 mm.
7. The unit can only be installed horizontally.
8. Recommended height for installation should not be lower than 2.3 m above the
fl
oor.
9. Plug the unit into the power supply. In case the unit remains idle for a considerable time, turn off the phase voltage.
10. Power cord should not lie on air curtain’s casing. It should be installed permanently, preventing it from movement.
11. Air curtain should be connected into a standard single-phase power supply using its power cord.
12. Electric power should be assured with a short-circuit-and-overload protection gG20A and a differential current protection IDN=30mA, AC or A type, IN-40A.
13. Diameter of the power cord plugged into FIGHTER 100EH air curtain should be at least 3x1,5mm².
2. UNIT MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION
2.1. CURTAIN CONTROL PANEL
The control panel of FIGHTER 100EH curtain is equipped with the following pushbuttons and control lights:

NORMAL WARM/OFF
– pushbutton for activating the curtain and changing the operation mode.
●
HIGH/LOW
– pushbutton for changing the fan gear.
●
HIGH/LOW
– signalization of high/low fan gear.
●
WARM
– signalization of switched on heating function.
●
RECEIVER
– signalization of receiving a signal from the remote control.
Before beginning the operation of the unit check its installation and connection to power supply.
2.2. OPERATION FROM THE CONTROL PANEL
In order to activate the unit and change its operation mode from the control panel level the pushbutton
NORMAL/WARM/OFF
shall be used. Whenever pressed it provokes a change in the
curtain’s operation mode in the following sequence:
Curtain
switched off
Curtain switched on
in a cool air mode
Curtain switched on
in a heating mode
Since the heaters must be cooled, the action of switching off the air curtain from the control panel level is delayed by approximately 2 minutes. At this time the red control light
WARM
is
fl
ashing.
In order to change the fan gear, use the pushbutton
HIGH/LOW
. It will change the rotation speed of the fan thereby changing the air loss of the curtain. The operation of the curtain with a
substantial air loss due to high fan rotation speed will be additionally signalized by activating the control lamp
HIGH/LOW
on the control panel of the unit.
2.3. OPERATION BY MEANS OF THE REMOTE CONTROL
CAUTION!
Before beginning to use the remote control, install the battery - 2x1,5V AAA (not delivered with the unit). The instructions for battery installation are placed on the remote control
casing. In particular, make sure that the polarization is correct (+ –).
Direct the remote control at the curtain from the distance no longer than 6 meters and at the angle not exceeding 60
o
.
In order to activate the unit in a cold air mode press the pushbutton
ON/OFF
.
In order to activate the heating function, press the pushbutton
NORMAL/WARM
. It will turn on the heaters in the unit. In order to switch off this function and return to the heating mode, press the
pushbutton
NORMAL/WARM
. The operation of the curtain in the heating mode will be additionally signalized by switching on the control light
WARM
on the control panel of the device.
In order to change the fan gear, press the pushbutton
SPEED
. It will change the rotation speed of the fan thereby changing the air loss of the curtain. The operation of the curtain with a high fan
rotation will be additionally signalized by activating the control lamp HIGH/LOW on the control panel of the unit.
In order to switch off the unit, press the pushbutton
ON/OFF
again.
If the unit is operating in a cool air mode, its operation will be stopped immediately. If the unit is operating in a heating mode, the action of switching off the air curtain will be delayed by
approximately 2 minutes which is the time necessary for the curtain heaters to cool down. The curtain cool air mode will be signalized by the red control light

ashing on the control panel.
3. MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS
1. Before starting maintenance works, disconnect the curtain from the power supply.
2. Make sure that the cleaning medium has not penetrated inside the unit, especially to the motor, heaters and the other electrical elements of the curtain.
3. It is recommended to clean the curtain regularly and in particular to remove the dust from the areas located close to the air outlet.
4. Do not open the unit yourself. This activity shall be (if necessary) performed only by the quali
