6.1. About caller Id
This product supports caller ID services offered by most telephone service providers.
Depending on your service subscription, you may see the caller’s number, or the
caller’s name and number after the first or second ring. Caller lD allows you to see
the name, number, date and time of calls.
6.2. Call list
If you subscribe to caller ID service, information about each caller will appear after
the first or second ring. If you answer a call before the caller’s information appears, it
will not be saved in the call list.
The call list stores up to 50 entries. Each entry has up to 24 digits for the phone
number and 15 characters for the name. If the phone number has more than 16
digits, only the last 16 digits appear. If the name has more than 15 characters,
only the first 15 characters are shown and saved in the call list. The time and date
of a call list entry are shown together with the name or number.
You can review an entry, dial an entry, or copy an entry into the phonebook.
Entries are stored in reverse chronological order.
When the call list is full, the oldest entry is deleted to make room for new
incoming call information.
Call list empty shows when you access the call list without records.
6.3. Missed call indicator
When there are calls that have not been answered, the screens display
xx MISSed
CAllS
. Whenever you enter the call list, or the base unit resumes power after power
outage, the missed call indicator goes away.
