•     Ensure the connector of the battery s securely plugged nto the handset and place the handset 

n the telephone base for chargng 

There s no dal tone 

•    Frst, try all the above suggestons 
•    Move the cordless handset closer to the telephone base  It mght be out of range 
•    The telephone lne cord mght be malfunctonng  Try nstallng a new telephone lne cord 

•    Dsconnect the telephone base from the telephone jack and connect a dfferent telephone
