Phone book entres
are stored n
alphabetcal order
by the first letter in
the first name.
If there s no name
entry matchng
your search, the
prevous closest n
alphabetcal order
wll appear on the
dsplay.

Searching for phone book entries
To search for phone book entres on a handset or the telephone base, enter
the
Phone Book
, then:
Press the
UP
and
DOWN
NavKeys to scroll through the entres n
alphabetcal order.
Press a dal pad key (
0
-
9
) to start a quck name search.
Press the
FIND
softkey to search for phone book entres by name.
To start a quick name search:
1. Enter the
Phone Book
menu from a handset or the telephone base (see page 73).
2. Press a dal pad key (
0
-
9
).
The phone book will display the first name beginning with the first letter associated with the dial
pad key, f there s an entry n the phone book entry that begns wth that letter. To see other names
that start wth the letters on the same dal pad key, keep pressng the dal pad key. The names wll
be shown n alphabetcal order.
For example, f you have name entres

n a phone book:
