PREPPING YOUR
NEW TOOL
CHARGING
The Elite Clip uses micro USB charging so you can be used the supplied micro USB
charging cable & power adaptor or you can use any micro USB to USB cable and
power directly from a USB power source or adaptor.
The Elite Clip is so easy to use. But before you start using your new tool, you must
take the time to charge it for
3 hours
before its first use. Your new tool comes with
a small amount of charge, but the initial charge will ensure your new tool will have
optimum power performance to give you smooth fast cutting, every time.
- Before using for the first time, fully charge your new tool continuously for 3
hours.
- Maximum battery capacity will only be reached after 3 charging & discharging
cycles.
- Ensure your new tool is switched off.
- Plug the USB cable into the USB port on USB adaptor with output 5.0V DC,1.0A,
then insert the micro USB plug into the socket on the bottom of your new tool.
- Plug the power adaptor into a suitable mains power socket.
- This product has three LED lights that indicate battery capacity when charging
or discharging. The lights will flash to indicate the battery is charging.
• When all three lights are illuminated blue, it indicates 100% battery capacity.
• When two lights are illuminated blue, it indicates 70% battery capacity.
• When one light is illuminated blue, it indicates 40% battery capacity.
- When the tool is about to run out of battery, the last charging indicator light
will flash to indicate that you have less than 15% battery capacity remaining.
- A full charge will supply 120 minutes cordless runtime.
- A quick charge of 15 minutes will supply 15 minutes cordless runtime.
