Product Description:
The cover control module (8812) is specifically designed to work with VOXX
’s DS4 and DS4+ product line up. Th
is
module will be used to control
a tonneau cover system for pickup trucks.
The purpose of this module is to provide a safe and secure environment for valuables in a pickup truck
bed while offering easy access to the pickup bed’s contents with a click of a button or using a smartphone.
The tonneau cover can be extended or retracted with the push of a button from a keypad or a capacitive
touch both using BLE technology, and from the OEM key FOB. The system controls and monitors two
motors to open and close the cover, and to stop if an object is pinched. This system includes, but out of
scope from
VOXX Electronics
, aluminum slats mounted on ball-bearing slides located within a patented track
system from Truck-Hero that ensures smooth operation.
