4 MAINTENANCE

4.1 CLEANING THE THERMOMIX
®
TM5 FOR KIDS
NOTE
Risk of damage
• Never use water when cleaning your base unit, as this can damage the Thermomix
®
TM5
for kids and thus void your entitlement to warranty.
• Never use sharp or pointed objects when cleaning the Thermomix
®
TM5 for kids. This can
damage functional parts or impair device safety.
• Never clean the components in a dishwasher.
1. Disassemble all components, such as the mixing bowl lid, mixing knife and butterfly
whisk before cleaning them, by following the steps described in Chapter “2.3 Assembly” on
page 6 in reverse order.
2. Always thoroughly clean the components of the Thermomix® TM5 for kids before and af-
ter the preparation of meals.
3. When cleaning the individual parts, use a soft cloth, warm water and commercially availa-
ble cleaning agent.
4. Only clean the base unit by carefully wiping it with a dry cloth. In particular, ensure that
no liquid is able to enter the interior of the device.
