Tips

•  During the off-season or after extended

periods of non-use, you may choose to store

Tempa. To ensure long life of the product, it

is recommended to store Tempa by following

these instructions:

•

Always set Power switch to Off and unplug

Tempa before cleaning.

•

After unplugging unit, wrap cord neatly inside

the Power Cord Storage.

•

Thoroughly clean Tempa. Use the brush

attachment on your household vacuum

cleaner to vacuum any accumulated dust on

Tempa or wipe down the entire surface with a

soft, dry cloth.

•

Cover, or place Tempa back into retail carton

if available.  This will prevent Tempa from

accumulating dust over time.

•

Store Tempa in a cool and dry location.

•  The motor is permanently lubricated and

requires no oiling. Do not use gasoline, thinners,

solvents or other chemicals for cleaning.

Resetting Your Vornado Heater

Your Vornado Tempa has a multi-level

safety shut-off system designed to prevent

overheating. If this happens, the safety shut-

off system will cut power to the heat element

and you will need to manually reset Tempa.

1.

Press Power Switch Off and unplug Tempa.

2.

Remove any obstructions and wait 5 –10

minutes, allowing Tempa to cool down.

3.

Plug in Tempa and press Power Switch to

On. Your Vornado Tempa is ready.

Note:

If the safety shut-off system repeatedly

shuts off Tempa or if it will not reset, DO

NOT ATTEMPT TO DISASSEMBLE Tempa.

Call Vornado Consumer Services toll-free at

1-800-234-0604.
