Making a Call
Making a Call
Dialing with the Keypad
1.
Enter the telephone number with the alphanumeric keypad. If you enter an incorrect digit, press the
Clear
soft
key to erase the incorrect digit.
2.
When you press any key on the keypad, the main screen displays three kinds of call options.
3.
Use the
Navigation keys
to select an option, and then enter the number.
4.
Press the
Call
key to make the call.
5.
Press the
End
key to end the call.
SIP URL / ID Digit Dialing
1.
When entering SIP URL /ID digit, use the
Star
key
to select and insert symbols; Press
1
repeatedly to
scroll and select among the basic symbols; Press the
Pound
key
repeatedly to scroll and select input
mode among AB/ab/12.
NOTE:
To enable this function, you must register in the
SIP Profile
first.
IP Address Dialing
You can also make a call to an IP address by inputting the IP address with the keypad. Use the
Navigation keys
to move the
cursor to enter value.
Looking up a Number from the Phonebook
You can call your contacts using the contact information stored in the phone book. To make a call to a person from the
phone book, follow the steps below:
1.
Press the
Menu
key or the
Down
key to display the menu options.
2.
Select
Phonebook
and press the
Right
soft key to display your phone book.
3.
Scroll through the list until you find the contact you want to call.
4.
Select the entry you want to make the call, and press the
Call
key to make the call.
Redialing a Phone Number
To quickly dial a number that you have dialed recently, do one of the following:
1.
To redial a previous number you dialed, press the
Menu
key and select
Call Log > Dialed Calls
, or press the
Right
Navigation
key or the
Call
key to view the most recent dialed numbers. Use the up and down navigation keys to
browse through the list of dialed numbers.
2.
Select the entry you want to make the call, and press the
Call
key to make the call.
Making a Call by Different SIP Account
This WiFi phone supports four groups of SIP account; you can select a different SIP account to continue the phone
conversation.
1.
Press the
Menu
key and select
Select Profile
, or press the
Left
navigation key on the main display. Use the up
or down navigation keys to select
SIP Account
.
2.
Select the SIP account you want, and press the
Select
soft key.
3.
When the SIP account has been set active, you can continue the conversation with this SIP account.
