OPERATION
•
Before plugging in, slightly grease the upper and
lower PLATES with a little oil or butter using a brush
or spray.
•
With the LID closed, plug the 3 in 1 Snack Maker
in at the mains. The POWER/READY LIGHT will
illuminate
red
to indicate that the Snack Maker is
heating.
•
Once the Snack Maker has reached cooking
temperature, the POWER/READY LIGHT will go
out.
•
Open the LID using an oven mitt to avoid contact
with the hot surface.
•
Pour your pre-prepared mixture into each of the
cooking zones of the lower PLATE and carefully
close the LID using the HANDLE. Lock into place
with the HANDLE LOCKING CLIP.
CAUTION: Do not overfill the PLATES to avoid the
mixture overflowing from the appliance.
WARNING! Overfilling the PLATES may cause
damage to the LID or HANDLE LOCKING CLIP. If
there is resistance when attempting to close the
LID, do not force. Leave to cool, clean as instructed
and continue using less mixture.
NOTE: The POWER/READY LIGHT may cycle
on and off during the cooking process. This is
completely normal as the appliance maintains its
temperature and it is not a fault with the appliance.
TIP: Try to resist opening the LID to check on the
progress of your food in the first minute or two of
cooking. Lifting the LID too early could result in the
mixture sticking and splitting.
•
Continue to cook until the desired level of browning
has been attained. Usual cooking time is 5-6
minutes.
•
Once cooked, lift the LID by the HANDLE to open
the Snack Maker.
WARNING! Take extra care when opening the LID
as steam may escape. Contact with steam can cause
severe burns. Avoid contact with the upper and
lower PLATES as they are very hot.
•
Remove the food with the help of a plastic or
wooden spatula.
CAUTION: Never use metal utensils to remove
the food from the PLATE as this will damage the
surface.
•
If you intend to make batches of waffles, brownies
or doughnuts, close the LID between batches to
conserve the heat.
