FITTING/REMOVING A SAW BLADE

CAUTION:

Always ensure that the tool is powered off and disconnected from the

mains before performing any adjustments or maintenance.

CAUTION

Do not use worn or damaged saw blades

as this can cause injury to the user and/or damage to
the tool.

IMPORTANT

Ensure you use the correct type of saw

blade, specific to the material to be cut.

To insert a blade, firstly rotate the

Chuck Collar

(2)

 in

an anticlockwise direction. This will retract the pin and
allow the required Saw Blade to be inserted.

Take the saw blade and insert into the centre of the

Chuck Collar (2)

. Ensure the teeth are facing in the

correct direction before sliding the blade into the slot
on the Chuck Collar as far in as possible.

Release the

Chuck Collar

(2)

 to secure, and check that

the blade is in place.

To remove a worn/damage blade, follow the above
steps in reverse.

ADJUSTING THE SHOE PLATE

The

Shoe Plate

(1)

slides in and out to adjust the

effective stroke length for maximum control and
longer blade life.

Loosen the two

Hexagonal Shoe Adjustment Screws

(7)

 with the

Hex Key

(8)

provided.

Pull the

Shoe Plate

(1)

 to the desired position, and

re-tighten the Hexagonal Socket Screws with the

 Hex

Key

(8)

provided.

CAUTION:

Always ensure that the tool is powered off and disconnected from the

mains before performing any adjustments or maintenance.
