Preparations
Towbar assembly

The distance between the opening of the
towbar assembly and the hole in the side must
be at least 1.5” (3.8 cm).
Key number
Please write down your key number in the
squares above. If the key is lost, a new one can
be ordered.
To remember
Always comply with speed limits and traffic
regulations. Your speed must always be within
the safety margin dictated by road and traffic
conditions in relation to load weight, but must
never exceed 80 mph (130 km/h).
Tighten the hitch bike rack bracket after the
vehicle has driven 200 miles (321 km).
IMPORTANT
Drive carefully over speed bumps.
NOTE
Remember to be extra cautious if the
vehicle is equipped with an automatically
opening tailgate. The system could be
inadvertently activated in a car wash or
similar if the remote key is within range.
Never install the hitch bike rack on a camper
trailer or similar pulled behind the vehicle.
However, the hitch bike rack may be installed
on an RV or other motorized camper.
Only use the rack to transport regular bicycles,
never tandem or recumbent bicycles. Also
keep in mind that the bicycle(s) should not be
much wider than the vehicle.
