Maintenance and safety
Batterie: La durée de vie prévue d’une batterie est de plus de
1000 cycles. Un cycle se définit par le passage d’une batterie
complètement chargée à complètement déchargée. La charge
sera 20% moindre après les 30 premiers cycles, mais la
détérioration sera plus lente par la suite.
Charge : Il n’y a pas de risque de surcharge de la photophore. Nos
unités de charge ont été conçues pour interrompre la charge une
fois la capacité maximale atteinte.
Nettoyage: Il suffit d’utiliser un tissu légèrement humide pour éliminer
toute trace, puis de sécher avec un tissu sec non-pelucheux.
Rangement: Rangez votre photophore dans un endroit frais et
sec (où la température ne dépasse pas préférablement 25°C)
pour protéger la batterie. Lorsque la température atteint un niveau
trop élevée , la batterie passe à une tension de 2.5 V par cellule:
le mode veille est enclenché. Nous recommandons de recharger
la photophore tous les deux mois (tous les trois mois maximum).

- Assurer que le sélecteur de tension est à la bonne tension avant
de brancher.
- Pour une utilisation aux USA, le sélecteur de tension doit être en
position 120v.
- Pour une utilisation ailleurs qu’aux USA le sélecteur de tension
peut être dans une autre position que 120V. Confirmer la tension
disponible pour chaque pays avant de l’utiliser.
- Pour tout branchement hors USA, utiliser un adaptateur de
branchement ayant la configuration désirée au besoin.
Battery: You can expect your battery to last for more than 1000
cycles. A cycle is when the battery goes from being completely
charged to no charge left. The charge will last for 20% less
time after the first 300 cycles, but it will deteriorate more slowly
after that.
Charging: There is no risk of overcharging your lantern. We have
engineered and tested our charger units to stop charging once they
have reached full capacity.
Cleaning: Simply use a slightly damp cloth to remove any stains and
then dry lint-free cloth.
Storage: Store your lantern in a dry and cool place
(preferably no higher than 25°C) to protect the
battery. When temperatures get too high, your battery
drops below 2.50V per cell, triggering sleep mode.
Recommend recharging your lantern every two months
(three at a maximum).

CAREFULLY FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS
- Be sure the voltage selector is in the correct voltage position
before plugging in.
- For use in the U.S.A, the voltage selector switch must be placed
in the 120 volt position.
- For use in countries other than the U.S.A, the voltage selector may
need to be placed in other than the 120 volt position. Confirm the
voltage at each country location before using product.
- For the connection to a supply not in the U.S.A, use an attachment
plug adapter of the proper configuration for the power outlet.
