Voltima - Jumpstarter 33

Important installation instructions!
In order to avoid danger, in particular due to fire hazard, injury and electric shock, the
following instructions must be observed:
•
Observe the operating instructions of the vehicle you want to start. Follow the
instructions you find there regarding starting the vehicle.
•
Ensure a well-ventilated environment.
•
Pull the handbrake and select the neutral or "park" position before attempting to start
the vehicle.
•
Make sure that the start button and all electrical consumers are switched off.
•
Stay away from any belts that move when the engine starts.
•
Connect the clamps correctly: red clamp to the positive terminal, black clamp to the
negative terminal.
•
Only charge the Voltima Jumpstarter at an ambient temperature between -40°C and
+65°C.
•
When not in use, keep it in a cool, dry place and keep children away.
•
Protect the unit from moisture.
•
Do not use it in explosive environments (e.g. near flammable liquids, gases or dust).
•
Do not use the unit if it is damaged in any way.
•
Use the unit only as intended.
•
Protect the unit from direct sunlight or heat.
•
Do not use abrasive or liquid cleaning agents for cleaning.
•
Make sure that the two pliers do not touch each other.
•
Avoid pulling on cables.
•
Avoid dust, moisture and corrosive or flammable substances near the Voltima
Jumpstarter.
•
Do not drop the Voltima Jumpstarter and avoid shocks.
•
Do not open the unit under any circumstances.
•
Use only dry cloths for maintenance. Switch off the Voltima Jumpstarter first.
•
The unit is only to be operated under exclusion of any damage.
•
Disconnect the power supply when working on the unit.
•
Only use the Voltima Jumpstarter if it is in perfect technical condition.
•
There are no parts of the Voltima Jumpstarter that require user maintenance or repair.
Never open the Voltima Jumpstarter or carry out any repairs to it.
•
Never install the unit in locations where there is a risk of gas or dust explosion!
•
All live cables must be inspected regularly for insulation faults, breaks and loose
connections.
•
Any defects found must be repaired immediately.
