Never charge the battery pack at an ambi-
ent temperature of below 10°C or above
40°C.
If a lithium-ion battery is to be stored for
an extended period, the charge level
must be checked regularly. The optimum
charge level is between 50% and 80%.
The storage climate should be cool and
dry and the ambient temperature should
be between 0°C and 50°C.
Insert the battery pack into the charger.
Insert the power plug into the socket. The
green charge control LED lights up briefly,
then the red charge control LED lights up.
The green control LED indicates that
charging is complete and the battery pack
is ready for use.
Always disconnect the mains plug before
removing the battery pack from or inserting
it into the charger.
CAUTION!
Before use
The battery is delivered charged from the fac-
tory, but may lose charge during transport and
storage. Charge fully before using the battery
for the first time.
Always charge the battery after use.
Never store the battery discharged, if it has too
low a voltage it will not receive power at the
next charge.
Never store the battery in the battery charger
for more than 48 hours.

Slide the battery pack into the handle until it
engages.
Removing the battery pack:
Press the release button and remove the
battery pack.
Checking the battery charge level
To check the battery status, press the battery
charge level button. The status/remaining
charge is shown on the battery display LED
as follows:
GREEN/RED/ORANGE = maximum charge
RED/ORANGE = medium charge
RED = low charge – charge the battery.
