Switching on/off
Switching on
Press and hold the ON/OFF switch to start
the appliance. The ON/OFF switch has a
variable speed control. Pressing the ON/
OFF switch yields a low speed. Increasing
the pressure increases the speed.
Switching
Release the ON/OFF switch to switch off the
appliance. If you place the direction switch
in the middleposition, the device is secured
against being switched on.
Using the tool with the drill
head
Changing tools
Rotate the keyless chuck counterclockwise,
until the drill chuck aperture is large enough
to accommodate the tool.
Insert the tool as far as possible into the
keyless chuck.
Rotate the keyless chuck clockwise in order
to clamp the tool.
To remove the tool again, rotate the keyless
chuck and pull out the tool.
2-speed gear
In first gear (speed selector switch in po-
sition L) you can reach a speed of approx.
350/min and a high torque. This setting is
suitable for all screwdriving jobs.
In second gear (speed selector switch in
position H) you can reach a speed of approx.
1400/min for carrying out drilling work.
Torque selection ring/drill setting
Adjust the torque by turning the torque pre-
selection ring to the desired position.
Select a low level for small screws or soft
materials.
Select a high level for large screws, hard
materials or for removing screws.
For drilling operations, select the drill set-
ting by moving the torque preselection ring
to the position.
Operate the speed selector switch only
when the appliance is at a standstill. Other-
wise the appliance could be damaged.
CAUTION!
Changing the direction of rotation
Change the direction of rotation by pushing
the rotation direction switch to the right or left.
Using the tool with the
sander head
Installation of sandpaper
Always remove the battery from the sander
before inserting or removing a tool.
The sanding plate is equipped with a Velcro
fastener, for easy replacement of sandpaper.
Clean the sanding surface of the sanding
plate from debris and dust.
Press the sandpaper onto the Velcro surface,
making sure that the holes in the paper align
with the holes in the sanding surface.
Connecting dust extraction
You can reduce dust production during sand-
ing by attaching a dust extraction system.
Push the adaptor into the opening on the
side of the sander head as far as the stop.
Connect a suitable vacuum cleaner to the
adapter. Use only a vacuum cleaner that is
suitable for the purpose, such as an industri-
al vacuum cleaner.
Using the tool with the
reciprocating saw head
Fitting saw blade
Always remove the battery from the recip-
rocating saw before inserting or removing a
saw blade.
Use only sharp, undamaged saw blades that
are suitable for the task at hand.
Push the lever for sawblade unlocking up-
wards as far as the stop. Push the sawblade
shaft into the sawblade mounting slot.
Release the lever, it will return to the initial
position.
Check that the sawblade is secure by pulling
on it.
Removing the sawblade: Press the lever for
sawblade unlocking upwards as far as the
stop and then pull the sawblade out of the
sawblade mounting.
