c) Factory default setting
Before you can use all functions of the device you will have to perform
some settings and familiarize yourself with the operating instructions.
• Activate the WLAN on your mobile device.
• Launch the Voltcraft
®
Powerline Powermeter app on your mobile
device. The app’s homepage with the “Dashboard” view will be opened.
Tap on the field with the icon to display newly searched energy costs
meters. When completed, the display will show the device number. Tap
on the icon to perform settings and register the device.
• You may assign an individual name and a photo to the device. When
using multiple energy costs meters, this might make it more easy to
identify the device.
• Tap on the field with the preliminary name (e.g. “PLC meter”) to assign a
different description or name to the energy costs meter.
• Tap the photo frame next to the device name to add or replace a photo.
You may then take a photo or upload a photo from the photo folders.
Then touch >Save<.
• Tap on the icon to navigate to the previous page.
• If you want to delete an energy costs meter from the list, tap on the
icon. The “device” view will be displayed. Drag the icon from the right
to the left using your finger. The field “delete” with red background colour
will be displayed. The device can be deleted now.
• Navigate to the previous page (“Dashboard” view). Tap on the field with
the settings icon. Here you can enter the language, electricity rate
and CO
2
emission. The most recent version of the app will be shown
and a direct link to the Conrad website can be established here.
• Navigate to the previous page (“Dashboard” view) again.
• Tap on the field with the on/off switch (on) / (off) to switch the
connected load, e.g. a lamp, on or off.
