CAR POWER ADAPTOR
ITEm NO.: 51 26 70 FPPS 12-27 W
ITEm NO.: 51 28 38 FPPS 12-18 W
INTENDED USE
The power adapter serves as voltage supply for low-voltage devices with matching 12 V/DC
cigarette lighter outlet plugs. It transforms the power from mains socket (100 – 240 V/AC,
50/60 Hz) to 12 V/DC with maximum output current 2250 mA (item no. 51 26 70) and 1500 mA
(item no. 51 28 38). The power consumption of the connecting load must not exceed 27 W (item
no. 51 26 70) and 18 W (item no. 51 28 38). Only a regular mains socket (100 – 240 V/AC,
50/60 Hz) can be used as the voltage supply source. Use only in dry environment.
For safety and approval purposes (CE), you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you
use the product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged.
In addition, improper use can cause hazards such as short circuiting, fire, electric shock etc.

OPERATION
make sure to observe the polarity and magnitude of the output voltage. Incorrect
polarity or excessive voltage input leads to the destruction of the connected
electrical appliance. Should you not be certain, contact a specialist.
make sure the power consumption of the connected electrical load is lower
than the maximum power output for the power adapter. Otherwise, the power
adapter will be overloaded.
Switch off the connecting load before connection.
1.
Connect the cigarette lighter plug of the connecting load with the cigarette lighter socket of
2.
the power adapter.
Please observe the polarity when inserting the cigarette
lighter plug. (“+” = positive; “–”negative).
For the cigarette lighter socket, the centre tip is positive and
the surrounding metal contact is negative.
Plug the mains plug of the power adapter to the mains socket.
3.
The LED lights up to indicate the power adapter is in operation.
4.
To remove the connecting load:
Switch off the connecting load.
1.
Unplug the mains plug of the power adapter from the mains socket.
2.
Disconnect the cigarette lighter plug of the connecting load from the cigarette lighter socket
3.
of the power adapter.
