Operation
The vehicle cigarette lighter must be plugged into a cigarette lighter socket in the
distribution socket. The cigarette lighter socket is identified by the
symbol on
the cover.
Before drilling mounting hole on the interior of the vehicle, make sure that the elec
-
tric cables, brake lines, fuel tanks or similar system will not be damaged.
a) Mounting
To mount the distribution socket, slide out the mounting plate, which locate at the back of the
distribution socket. Affix it on the interior of the vehicle. The diameter of the mounting hole is
2.75 mm.
It is recommended to mount the distribution socket vertically, such that the output
sockets locate at the side.
b) Connection
Insert the universal cigarette lighter plug to the cigarette lighter socket in the vehicle. The red
LED will light up.
To avoid dust or dirt accumulate in the output sockets, only open the covers when
the sockets are in use.
c) Fuse replacement
•
Disconnect the device from cigarette lighter socket in the vehicle.
•
Pull out the defective fuse gently from the universal cigarette lighter plug.
•
Replace the defect fuse with a new one of the same type, please refer to “Technical Data”.
Care and Cleaning
•
Disconnect the product from the mains before each cleaning.
•
Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions as
they can cause damage to the housing and malfunctioning.
•
Clean the product with a dry, fibre-free cloth.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the house
-
hold waste. At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance with
applicable regulatory guidelines.

Intended Use
The distribution socket serves as an extension of the built-in cigarette lighter socket in ve
-
hicles such as passenger cars and motor lorries. It provides 2 additional standard sockets
(DIN ISO 4165).
Each output can provide up to 10 A current. Make sure the total current consumption of all
connected electrical load does not exceed 10 A. The distribution socket can be powered by
12 V
cigarette lighter socket.
It is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture, e.g. in bath
-
rooms, must be avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use
the product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. In
addition, improper use can result in short circuits, fires, electric shocks or other hazards. Read
the instructions carefully and store them in a safe place. Make this product available to third

a) General Information

The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
•
Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. This may become dan

gerous playing material for children.

Protect the appliance from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high
humidity, moisture, flammable gases, steam and solvents.

Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
•
If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and
protect it from any accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed
if the product:

is visibly damaged,

has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or

has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.

Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height
can damage the product.

Sufficient ventilation is essential when operating the charging unit. Never cover
the ventilating slot on the top of the housing since cooling of the unit is achieved
by convection (heat flow).
•
The device should not be connected immediately after it has been brought from
an area of cold temperature to an area of warm temperature. Condensed water
might destroy the product. Wait until the device has adapted to the new ambient
temperature before use.
•
Consult an expert when in doubt about the operation, safety or connection of the
appliance.
